World Building update #1!
I rolled for “The Saint, The Sinner”, an ongoing dark fantasy series that follows blind protagonist Camaranth and his controversial, ex-lover, Distreal.
The Metaphysical
Magick is abundant in this world and it is gifted from the Divine.
In the TSTS universe, the Divine are categorized into two groups depending on what kind of magick and power they bestow on their subjects and what the recepient must sacrifice to reap such benefits.
A simpler understanding is that they are divided into two groups, “Lawful” and “Unlawful” magick.
Lawful magick requires the practioner to sacrifice a part of themselves whereas unlawful magick requires sacrifices of others, not the practioner. Lawful magick comes from the Divine pantheon known as The Six. Unlawful magick comes from a pantheon known as The Four.
Those who chose magick from one of The Six are known as “Saints” because of their typical, virtuous nature. Those who choose magick from one of The Four are usually called “Demons” because of their typical brutal and viscious nature. Whether you be a Saint or Demon, all practioners are considered Human in this world, even the “Horned Devils.”
Below are the two fields fo Magick practice. I won’t go into details on the divine but it is through them that power is granted. The divine go by two names, a direct name and their “divine title” which is associated with their branch of magick/power. I use the divine titles below.

The Limitless one demands bone and death. Those who practice this magick are bestowed the powers the Warlock. May display powers of storm, lightning, flame, gales, wood, self healing, life drain, and psychic feeding. The Warlock has limitless potential.
This whole universe sounds so fucking cool. I love how the Lawful and Unlawful are delineated between self-sacrifice and other sacrifice.
